I spent 25 years working as an IT recruiter which included ten years as co-owner of an executive search firm. The more I worked with people who found themselves at various stages of the job transition process, the more motivated I was to help make their transition a successful one. I would find myself putting a great deal of energy into preparing candidates for an interview, helping them negotiate a higher salary and ultimately transitioning into a new job. Candidates who listened and followed my guidelines generally wound up with a job offer they wanted to accept.

Eventually, I decided I wanted to make an even greater impact on peoples’ careers, which led to enrolling in the Coach Training Institute where I became a certified Co-active Coach. I opened up a career coaching practice and started working with individuals who wanted help trying to figure out next steps for their careers. Although my specialty has always been interview preparation and salary negotiation, I also enjoy assisting people who strive for job fulfillment and meaningful work.  As a matter of fact, that’s one of the commonalities that Terry and I have together, which is why we decided to create Job Greatness.
